Jules brings 27 years in the veterinary industry and 16 years of progressive HR and leadership experience to every practice she works with, grounded in the fast-paced reality of veterinary medicine. She delivers HR services and consulting that fit real-world hospital operations and growth. At VetHR, she draws on nine years as Director of Human Resources building and running the HR function for a growing 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital organization from the ground up, scaling infrastructure, policies, benefits programs, and compliance systems that kept pace with rapid expansion.
What sets Jules apart is that she didn't come to veterinary HR from the outside — she came up through it. Before moving into HR leadership, she spent over a decade in hands-on clinical and operations leadership roles. That firsthand experience means she understands the unique pressures of veterinary teams — the emotional weight of the work, the staffing demands, and the importance of employee development and challenges of a highly regulated industry — not just in theory, but from having lived it.
Jules is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and holds additional credentials in people management and workplace investigations. She now brings that same depth of veterinary-specific HR expertise to practices that need dedicated HR support without building an in-house department from scratch.
